The Kagal Education Society

Kagal is a developing City located in the Kolhapur district of Maharashtra state, India. The City is distanced about 20 kmts from Kolhapur, towards Maharashtra – Karnataka border, which makes it convenient place for nearby students in Karnataka as well. Kagal has multiple Sugar factories in its territory and it is located 5 kmts from five star MIDC, Kolhapur.

KES is proud to have witnessed the presence of many legendary personalities during its inception days. Hon’ble late Mr.Yashwantraoji Chavan, first chief Minister of Maharashtra State was the first Hon. President of KES. The former chief of Indian Space Research Organization, Dr. Vasantraoji Gawarikar (Scientific advisor to PM of India in 1991-1993), was a resident of KES hostel, while he was pursuing his education in Kagal.
